Julie completed her 200 hour training at Longwave Yoga in Wilmington, NC in 2017. Initially, yoga began, as it does for many, as a physical practice: a chance to strengthen and stretch the body. Consistently showing up on the mat to move and breathe with intention has had a positive domino effect on all aspects of life.
Julie looks forward to passing on the feelings of strength, possibility, peace, and gratitude that yoga brings to life on and off the mat. On the mat, with a teaching style that can be described as playful, you can expect to be challenged while having a good time. Off the mat, you might find her hiking, biking, or running with friends!
